The First Season: War!

On the very first season of Toonopolis Fighting World, a war broke out. It was started on Episode One by an extremely cryptic figure who would come to be known only as The Shadowy Figure. He declared that Kid Gemini must close the federation or he would force him to. Never one to take threats from an unknown force, Gemini refused and continued right along with Episode Two.
On Episode Two, the Shadowy Figure claimed that the first Tooniverse Champion would be the first toon that he/she/it had under his/her/its shadowy thumb. In response to that, Kid Gemini outwitted the Shadowy Figure and declared himself the first Tooniverse Champion. He was kind of quiet on Episode Three, save one death-type threat to Kid Gemini. On Episode Four, the two verbally battled and Kid Gemini ended up being tricked into joining a free-for-all fight he had scheduled for Episode Five, where he would lose the Tooniverse Belt to Milo.
On Episode Six, Kid Gemini ended up losing a fight to Angel because of the Shadowy Figure’s distraction but, more importantly, the first blow was landed in the way of factioning: the Shadowy Figure had propositioned Milo. From that point on, Toonopolis Fighting World became a bargaining table and Kid Gemini and The Shadowy Figure offered what they could to toons to join their side of the war. The league’s top toons started choosing sides: Kiki to Kid Gemini, Milo to Kid Gemini, Calophi to the Shadowy Figure, Purple Monkey Dishwasher to the Shadowy Figure, and so on.
Culminating in the First Movie: All’s Fair In Love And War, things came to a head big time. The battle lines had been drawn and Kid Gemini and The Shadowy Figure agreed that they would allow their toons to battle it out to decide who would take over Toonopolis Fighting World at the end. It came down to the last fight as a tie, each side had won an equal number of fights up the the last one.
It came down to Kid Gemini (the worst fighter in the league) versus The Shadowy Figure (an apparently all powerful cartoon being). The cause seemed lost.
Then something happened.
The Shadowy Figure revealed himself.
And The Shadowy Figure was really Kid Gemini. Gemini explained that he had created the doppleganger of himself to entice interest in the Toonopolis Fighting World and that the doppleganger had gotten out of control. In the end, no one won the war (does anyone ever?) and the First Movie ended with a desperate cry by Jimbob the Talking Eggplant after Kid Gemini returned to the Real World to avoid causing more pain and anguish in the Tooniverse.
