Regarding Missing Archives
by Calophi on Aug.07, 2009, under News
I have good news and bad news, and then good news again.
- The good news is I found all my stuff so I can externally connect my old harddrive to my computer through USB.
- The bad news is that I definitely don’t have the zip file that Jeremy says he sent me.
- The other good news is that I DO have an assload of pages from when the website was toonopolis.tv.
I’m not sure where this leaves me in terms of what’s missing from the current website, but at the very least a lot—if not all—of the missing bios are in there, and that’s better than where we were at before today!

Good news! Using the internet archive wayback machine, I was able to track down the toonopolis.tv archived site before we switched to the toonopolis.com domain.
That should have the remainder of the roleplays and roster info that we never got up on the archive site.
I am snagging it now as we speak. Gotta do a page at a time, which is annoying.

I’m pretty sure my version of toonopolis.tv was backed up from before we launched the .com address, so I have all the rps and stuff too. It’s a matter of figuring out how to get to them though, because the site is in .asp.

Well, then the hard part is covered. Everything from the .com and from the site previous to Matt K’s design (ie, all the roleplays from the original EZBoards) were already put up on the site. I remember distinctly trying to get them all posted before the EZBoards went kaboom.

Bad news! It has the roleplays listed, but does not have the actual roleplays archived. Boo crap!
