TFW’s New Home

As you can see, TFW is being moved to it’s own subdomain to open up toonopolis.com for a new website, brought to you by the mastermind of TFW, Jeremy Rodden. And who can forget the lovely artist, Cami Woodruff?
So I am taking it upon myself to (slowly) rearchive all of the content into wordpress so we can comment on it. Plus if Jer ever decides to open it again, it should be rather easy to do, in theory.
I am starting with the Information section since it’ll be the easiest to update!
By the way, anybody who wants icons to show up next to their comments can set that up here: Gravatar
Edit: Anyone who wants to track the RSS feed should probably only follow the News section for now, since there are tons of pages being put up, which sort of makes the RSS feed useless.

Just wanted to give the heads up on more finished sections.
- The Employees section is done except for the roster, but that’s being worked on currently.
- Under History, “The Story” and “Records” are finished. I’ll probably do Championships next.
- Under Miscellany, “Name That Quote” and “Roleplay Tips” are up.
I modified the “read more” links to just load the rest of the post instead of taking you to a new page.
I still have to track down a good contact form plugin to add along the top of the page, and I have to make usernames for every toon on the roster to link up to the bios and roleplays. Yeeeesh.
Regarding Missing Archives

I have good news and bad news, and then good news again.
- The good news is I found all my stuff so I can externally connect my old harddrive to my computer through USB.
- The bad news is that I definitely don’t have the zip file that Jeremy says he sent me.
- The other good news is that I DO have an assload of pages from when the website was toonopolis.tv.
I’m not sure where this leaves me in terms of what’s missing from the current website, but at the very least a lot—if not all—of the missing bios are in there, and that’s better than where we were at before today!

All the relevant pages from the previous site’s Information section are up.
I’m working on a way to restrict users to posting in certain categories, just in case this site ever picks up again.
I’ve also recruited Eurkos (Panhandle/Der Drachen/Atara) to help me when I get to the hard stuff later on – staff bios, roleplays, etc. I might ask around later and see if there are more people with blogging experience who can help with that.
